Indiana State Stands 8-7 in MVC The Sycamores faced a tough test last Wednesday against the Evansville Aces. The Aces came in shooting 52% from the field, good for second in the nation. Although the Sycamores held the Aces to only 44%, the Aces came out victoriuos 68-65. Evansville still stands atop the standings.
The Sycamores came back on Saturday with a win over the Bulldogs from Drake. Drake had gotten away with a win earlier against the Sycamores in Iowa. This time, the Sycamores posted a very convincing win. They led by 28 with 8 minutes to go when the subs got to play. By the end of the game, the Bulldogs pulled to within 19. The Sycamores go on the road to play Wichita State on Thursday and SW Missouri State on Saturday. |
